Live Harvest Yields In Illinois for Market

[ Edited ]

We just finished a live telecast with an Illinois farmer that is harvesting today. He's actually been harvesting for a week. Take a look and let me know what you think. His yields are better than he expected.

Watch this:   Live Harvesting From Westcentral Illinos

Thanks,

I think you should balance that out with a video of harvesting a field on the opposite end of the spectrum, some hilly, clay, dry area.

He has been combining for a week,so why is he just calibrating it now?  Or does he have to calibrate for every field?

Nothing like combining wet green corn, even at 25 % he's drying down to 14% for the local coup. Got a buddy over that way average rent 400$ an acre better hope it gets better and dryer quick or he's taking a loss at these prices. Could you all imagine if it was 167 bpa? Wouldn't be combining today, let Mother Nature dry some of that -150$ loss. Per acre

Maybe he should invest in some Ag Leader yield monitor technology, it is far better than the 20/20.  :-)
