Looks like......
http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=256646&mid=1963759#M1963759
We are losing acres.........now if I could just remember where I read that the USDA acreage was full of poo since Feb.......you would think I could remember as it seemed like a broken record......o well
I think that freeze thing was a bigger deal than first thought considering this
http://www.nass.usda.gov/Charts_and_Maps/Crops_County/pdf/SB-PL10-RGBChor.pdf
http://www.nass.usda.gov/Charts_and_Maps/Crops_County/pdf/CR-PL10-RGBChor.pdf
And this
http://www.wunderground.com/severe.asp
Corn yields (MO,IA) are running from horrible to it could be worse.........100 will catch most of the 140-160 potential ground and 150-170 catching the 200-230 ground..........and these are the better spots, some is worse
Soya yields are coming in about 15-20% under average thus far.........
I would imagine the corn is only going to get worse as later planted just gets harvested.........soya could be a mixed bag.......
Well everyone have a safe harvest........

Re: Looks like......
There have been many folks who never believed the planted acreage total from day 1.....and I might add....still don't.

Re: Looks like......
Frost was a huge deal here in dakota county minnesota. Late planted corn now smells like silage, beans were pretty green yet. Cbot dosnt seem to care about it. We are southeastern part of state
