Lowest feed/animal unit ratio in recent history?
I found this to be interesting in light of conversation regarding the possible exclusion of DDG's in the accounting of available feed this year.

I really have been trying to digest this chart but I guess the thing don;t make sense to me. I am surte it is because of my adeled brain not your post can you explain a little more please?
I just find it hard to believe that you are saying that we have this low ratio with having the smallest cow herd in years. having shaved over 2 million cattle from the dairy herd in the last 15 years. and smaller egg sets and reduced poultry numbers.

As near as i can tell this is the USDA prediction based on the amount to be fed divided by predicted animal units.
