Re: MAGA returns
MAGA SMAGA.
But, yeah, even with good crops here world S and Ds are tightening up a bit, wheat in particular,
which is typically the first one that has to turn.
Funds are heavily short.
But.... the dollar looks like it wants to rise further and there are a lot of other potential problems on the horizon.
My guess is that unless there are some big fundamental changes that I can't foresee, commodities in general stay under pressure until years' end.

Re: MAGA returns
China has awoken a giant.
China July new loans ease to 1.45 trln yuan, above forecasts
Reuters Staff
2 MIN READ
BEIJING, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Chinese banks extended 1.45 trillion yuan ($210.69 billion) in net new yuan loans in July, above analysts’ expectations, as a growing trade battle with the United States threatens to pile more pressure on the slowing economy.
Analysts polled by Reuters had predicted new yuan loans of 1.2 trillion yuan, down sharply from June’s 1.84 trillion yuan but well ahead of the tally in July last year.
Outstanding yuan loans grew 13.2 percent from a year earlier, faster than an expected 12.8 percent rise and compared with a rise of 12.7 percent in June.
China’s banks doled out 9.03 trillion yuan in new loans in the first half of this year, after a record 13.53 trillion yuan in full-year 2017.
The central bank has cut banks’ reserve requirements three times this year, and the consensus view is that there will be more reductions as policymakers try to ensure struggling companies have enough access to affordable financing. Re: MAGA returns
Couple questions for ya RT:
Where does the countdown start from = 99 bottles on the wall or 999
What are we counting down to = Liftoff or launchpad explosion
What setting should we use for the metronome?
Don't think I'll be awake for the 20th bottle anyway

Sorry Isc76cat, You are not gonna get me to post a picture of a rocket. Doing that has gotten lousy results in the past. As far as you being on your 20th bottle, you are a better man than I.
If I had to guess, I'd say that the countdown actually started with the last election.

Re: MAGA returns
Was in Wisconsin today and I didn`t recognize it from a month ago when it was beautiful, now it`s dry, firing, irrigation rigs going where they have them. I`m not saying the entire state looks that way, but seems like we have these wet springs and those that farm gravel do look tremendous, when the rain shuts off it quickly runs out of gas.
I`ve gotten burned too many times betting against the USDA, however they are a step behind and the closer to harvest it`ll perhaps be more down to earth. It seems like wherever I go, the corn is short of N....beans still have potential, but a +50 bu national yield? I`m sorry, I`ll have to call that hand.
