Mike's question...

About the South America FARM tour.

The plane has left the gate on this for me this spring. Heifers and cows start doing their thing next week, the frost (such as it was)  is gone. Some serious work on the big tractor, minor things on some other equip, and hopefully some farming if and whenever 'ol Ma Nature allows.

Can not commit to anything til July except spur of the moment things, then Oct through Nov is harvest.

As far as length of trip, I have a hard time thinking anything less than 10 days would be cheating us out of getting any kind of feeling of the vastness and variability of the area.

Re: Mike's question...

Hobbyfarmer,

It's my understanding that this farm trip of a lifetime to Brazil would not be scheduled until February 2017, or something around then. But, I will try to get more details and pass them along. Plenty of time to plan.

Re: Mike's question...

Hey gang,

As we plan this trip, it would be helpul to know how much you would be willing to pay? And what I mean by this is the trip can be whatever we want it to be. But, the longer you stay, the more travel within the country, will bring with it different price levels. I'm sure you all are well aware of this. But, roughly, what would you be willing to pay for this Brazilian Farm Tour?

Thanks,

Mike

Re: Mike's question...

Flight + $100 per day for food, lodging, guide and travel within country. Maximum 2 week stay. Can you make it work for that? I am willing to sleep in a tent, I've had worse accommodations!
