MikeM, how `bout them Vikes?
This has to be bitter/sweet for Christian Ponder gettin` healed up and watch Cassel to get the first win. http://www.vikings.com/media-vault/videos/Frazier_Matt_Did_A_Terrific_Job/9d45664c-8f98-4bcf-a86b-5a...
This isn`t "off topic" cause I`m thinking of marketing against the tide this year, sell most of my corn and store the beans 🙂

Re: MikeM, how `bout them Vikes?
Those Minnesotans love their Vikings, they`re picking up half the tab on the new close to $1 billion new stadium. They`re coming over the border in droves to buy cigarettes, cause they`re too high up there. I think it`s other taxes they`ve raised too, not just "sin" taxes. I just wonder if this stadium really is worth it, i`m sure the Cities like it, but a smoker/taxpayer from rural Minnesota that doesn`t give a wit about football or is a "Cheesehead" isn`t to happy about it. The Vikings better start earning their keep 🙂
This isn`t off-topic. On the radio Tim Fleming talked to a guy that got finished with corn and beans last year on September 27th, this year he just started on Friday the 27th. What a difference a year makes.

Re: MikeM, how `bout them Vikes?
Here's one Minnesotan that would be more than happy to help them pack for a move to LA. LA got the old Mpls Lakers and they can have the "Yikes" too. Best thing about them playing in London yesterday is they weren't stinking up the joint here!! If i want to watch real football I will pay 5 bucks so I can stand 5 yards from the field and watch our high school team play. First it was my generation playing. Then it was mine and my classmates kids playing and in a few years it will be the next generation. MUCH BETTER!!

Re: MikeM, how `bout them Vikes?
I finished Oct 1st last year. Would have finished in September but had to quit for my grandson's 1st birthday party. Might try some beans on the high ground tomorrow. Low ground pods are still green. Neighbor started beans Saturday, driving around the green. Sometimes the fever is too much!!

Re: MikeM, how `bout them Vikes?
Sheeled some yesterday so I wouldn;t have to buy anymore. 38% in one spot 16 in another. Same row just about 50 feet apart. right on the bendict blacktop. Still chopping head gasket blew while I was over by the pits near Hutchins. Got back ro;;ing yesterday.
Beans will be ready by weekend.

Bet them cows will like that fresh corn. Ours allways tore into feed made from new corn but what they really went for was fresh alfalfa. Little dangerous walking in the barn tho after that first load of green chop!!

Ponder better watch out
My attractive cousin, Samantha, married the guy because he was a handsome starting NFL quarterback. He had better hope and pray that he gets to be a starter again cause I don't think Samantha's life goal was to be married to a loser and/or a benchwarmer.
I like what I saw out of Matt Cassal yesterday...the guy really mixed up things and got all the receivers involved. For a seventh round draft choice that never started a college game, he looked like an adequate QB.....something that Ponder failed to do most weeks.
Not turning the ball over was huge.
