And the farmers are more infatuated by corn and beans to see it.  Hogs put in an impressive measuring gap today and no one cares.  Right now the measuring gap points to 115 hogs with the upper median line at 125.  You all are fighting yesterday’s battles without looking forward.

So few in agriculture actually own a hog to sell.......... worse than commenting on the chicken trade....... well at least similar.  Soon that will be true for the grains as well.

Marketing by definition is the process of selling production.   these days all the little porkers are owned by the packers from semon to bacon.   Paper trade is nearly fully internet farm game material

I drew both forks with different anchors to show the different targets.  If it anchors off the chart low the gap up is a breakaway gap pointing to 120. It also means the ML has already been cleared.  If the true anchor is the closest low we see a clearly defined ML that developed.  Pick your poison.  Both are bullish.  The big market runs in a 3.5 year cycle and I believe this cycle run should last at least 4 years from low to low.  If you split it in half the bull run in hogs could last into April,May of 2022.  It is all based on the low I called last March/April as a commodity wide low.  Very exciting to be a hog farmer now.  The problem is meal usage should plummet with pprs in the US and ASF in China. More cycle analysis to tie into going out to 2022, but that is fir a later time.

The hog  deal  could  be  compared  to  Mega - Mart  , same  store  sales - S S S G  reporting  -  -  -

Cut  out  margins  would  be  an  interesting  figure ,  with  hogs  running  behind  cattle  by  $300  + / head  - - -

Retail  sales  on  the  consumer  front  for  Febr.,  being  the  mega  business  GO$$IP  story  this  morning , with     Mother  Nature  Impacts  real-iKKY  from  the  Lone  Star  State  -   -   -

Fuel  consumption , shoe  drop , revised  number - next  maybe - ?
