Re: NCGA on Bud ads

They`re going to have a cow over that? It`s called capitalism, there are sugar cane farmers too, shouldn`t they`ve been angry over the years that HFCS has been pushed?  And while us corn farmers made out like bandits during NAFTA, the sugar growers didn`t fare as well.

Re: NCGA on Bud ads

Malted barley has a natural sugar content.

thats why Real Beer uses barley as thee main brewing product.

Perhaps the corn growers should work on real issues....like diabetes in cattle and people too.....to much corn syrup type products in the total USA diet.

Re: NCGA on Bud ads

I don’t know any corn farmers that have made out in much of anything personally. More to the point we grow more corn than ever before, so why wouldn’t their be corn products in everything. It’s basically free at these prices and according to anyone you ask we have a surplus of it for years to come. Bud light actually uses rice for their fermentation process. A lot of rice grown in the US? Bragging about importing a product to use in your process versus using something you have locally grown in huge surplus sounds about the worst advertisement yet to date. Gl with that , so much for America’s beer which is and has been the slogan for Budweiser for years.

USA grows lots of rice

Perhaps you need to visit the States around home there a touch.

Arkansas is likely the largest rice grower.

The rice brewed beers are excellent products too.

Re: NCGA on Bud ads

The US also raises a lot of sugar too, beets and cane.  And they`ve had it rough with prices, but American sugar from Florida or the Red River Valley, seems the way to go.  I heard on WHO Big Show the head honcho of the Corn Growers was having a fit about the Budweiser ad, if you really believe in your product then go on the offensive and say "Drink Coors, they have high fructose corn syrup!   Yum yum!"   See, until they believe in their product enough to do that, anything else is just crying that "the real sugar market is taking back market share that we stole from them 20 years ago".   But go to Walmart in the Hispanic section and buy one bottle of Mexican Coke that`s made with real cane sugar and drink that and WOW! Smiley Tongue   you`ll wonder what the US soft drink industry has done with your taste buds with the HFCS.

Re: NCGA on Bud ads

I don't know if there is any kind of sugar raised in New England or L.A.     I think those may be the only locations that people actually watched the Superbowl.

Re: Perhaps mandated

High fructose corn syrup use is the answer.

then we'll keep it quiet that it is a law. LoL.

then we'll just import beer....but it will be Real beer.
