North IA update

I will have to say we sure as hell won't flood the streets of Woden with corn.These last two weeks have been hell on the corn and after taking a walking tour though my fields I would say we are going to be doing great to be in that 160 to 170 bu range. I feel it wasn't so much not receiving rain as the heat the last two week really hit us in the ass.Different story on the soybeans as the last few rain have really helped them out I would think there's a chance at 50 - 60bu soybeans coming out of NIA.Report out of NIA is that the corn sucks and soybeans have a very good chance.

    Missed most of the rain again will be doing good to make the 3040 bu range in the beans in my part of  NW Ill

tiger,it all about weather in the next 2 weeks.Yes there are going to be 50-60 bu soybeans if we have cooler and a rain event.As to the corn might have a 200bu field here and there but 160-170 is going to stop it.As to green paint if your $10 corn happens I sure will be looking.

200 will be few and far far far far between...........120-150ish will catch most of IA.............

I thing north ia has to go do some yield checks in his field and I think he will be a little disappointed what he finds.
