Not that I trust Goldman
to not be doing the opposite at the trading desk while making public recs from the analytical arm, but they have officially closed their short dollar rec.
Dollar, long rate, broad commodity bull all feeling stalled out here.
But I am warming to further eventual strength in the dollar. It did roughly hit my 93+ objective in price and form so may need some rest.

Re: Not that I trust Goldman
Although thinking about it, the trading desk would probably start buying before the advisory folks put out the rec.

Re: Not that I trust Goldman
We live in uncertain times, so get out the dart board. The monthly trade deficit hit a new record (hope we`re still collecting tariffs....aww what the heck it doesn`t matter anymore) . But the question is how long will the dollar remain the world reserve currency? Does any other country want the burden? I mean all this Titanic deck chair moving of (my charts say the dollar`s gonna do this & that) that`s all short term stuff. As Gretzky used to say "where`s the puck gonna be and that`s where I`ll skate".
Until the day of reckoning, $2 trillion spending bills will be bulled through congress to goose the economy ahead of the 2022 mid terms. Foreigners keep taking the printed money and sending us flat screens .."there`s one born every minute" but will they come back to the tent for the 6 o`clock show?
Bill Gates and the billionaires are buying farmland, as ag commodities is one of the few things we produce that the rest of the world actually wants. Wayne, I have a feeling, that is where the "puck is gonna be".
