Now that I have your attention.....
I would like your advice on what kinds of articles you would like to have me write about. Marketing is relevant to farmers' well being and always changing, so there is usually something to write about every week. However, I think that a change now and then makes life interesting. I am in the process of putting together material for a column on rental arrangements and one on the future of agriculture. They will not be the usual academic treatments, but more along the line of a different way of looking at things. To paraphrase and old song, I know a little bit about a lot of things but I am not an expert about much of anything. Is this kind of material of any interest or would you prefer that I follow the common format of sticking to what corn and soybean prices are going to do?....Soyroy

Go for it. Rents in the climate of the last few years is a favorite topic - fear and wondering how your favorite BTO 'bad boy' pulls it off in comparison to the risk tolerance of the average operator.

Re: Now that I have your attention.....
Sorry I asked! Not really, but I have to stick to things I know at least a little about. Hint: The one on future of agriculture deals with brew pubs in Iowa. It may take me a while to put that one together. I did get my FSA maps turned in since the last posting..Soyroy
