Well missed rain here !!! Might get some of those storms tonight in panhandle of Texas in western Kansas near Garden City all the way to Chicago there's a line of storms!!!! Mother nature I hope you have p.m. s. tonight!!! Bring it???

Dafeeder- If you're curious, Sedgwick (the town) had about 30% winterkill on our plot.  North on 96 things look a lot better (at least on our end of things).  We have about 8 acres in Enid that I haven't heard from our cooperator on yet- hopefully it'll make it through.

That sounds significant to me.   How many years out of 10 does the Sedgwick area get winter kill????

First time I've been there :/

I'm not entirely sure on local winterkill statistics, but it will definitely make a difference come harvest time.

Sedgwick is down in the "always a good one" area.  Always pretty crops.

these images are palpable........even the Miss-delta N of La is paltry compared to last yr.

 

Jed - you're even looking pretty dry - if i recall yer coordinates.
