One year ago next week.......

One year ago on the 25th of april we had 50% of the corn in the ground....... Some how I do not think that it will happen this year when we are at 7% now......I am not sure that we will even make the 5 year ave that would be 22%.......... p-oed

P we were done planting corn last year on the 25th of April.

I was done planting beans the Wednesday before Mothers Day last year. Was hoping to maybe have the chance on some corn this year before that day. Although, you just never know what is or will happen. The calendar is just a piece of paper the depicts a time of the year. Step outside and it is only March 18th...MikeM

The weather coming over the PNW is stll shaky. Spokane will probably set a record for the latest date to reach 60*.

This morning we got up to 53*. In the afternoon it was 38* and snowing. No wheels turned in my neighborhood yet.

   Last year was so wet in May I didn't plant until May 28th and finished June 19th.   Was too late for corn so planted all beans.   The field planted 1st went 64 bpa, last field went 46 bpa.   We had just enough rain to keep things going in the heat.   I ended up with my best average ever but I give most of the credit to RR2 bean seed.

   Could be poed   No 2 years are alike and it was my 1st time using RR2 seed.
