OptionEye - Macro Outlook - April 23rd
Today we finally get some economic numbers to get out teeth into. China had some week numbers overnight as did Eurupe getting out equity market off on a negative foot. The S & P future this morning is down over 5 points in early trade.
The dollar is basically unchanged at 97.94 up .01.
Overnight the grain markets were as quiet as they were during yesterday's day session. Corn is unchanged to slightly easier, beans are up 4 cents and wheat up about 2.
The 10 year yield is at 1.95% making a move to break out of the upside range of 1.97%.
The oil market is down slightly to $56.00 down .16 cents. Gold is up $2.48 to $1189.79.
We get Initial Jobless Claims, Markit US Manufacturing PMI and New Home Sales.
