OptionEye Macro Outlook April 6th
Overnight sees corn steady easier, beans steady better and wheat steady easier. So, as one old trader would say 'sharply unchanged across the board'.
The dollar is...wait for it....pretty much unchanged. The dollar index stands at 100.58 which is up .02.
The stock market is quiet as well, all lining up for non-farm payrolls on Friday. This morning the S&P future is up .25 of a point and the Dow future is up 2 points.
Oil is pretty much unchanged at $51.19 up .04 cents. The gold market is down at $1253.59 down $2.10.
The 10 year yield has been the talk of the town as it continues to confound with rates compressing after the rate hike we have already had this year. Right now the 10 year yield is at 2.35%.
Today we get the Challenger Job Cuts, Initial Jobless Claims, Continuing Claims and the Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index.
