OptionEye Macro Outlook April 6th
Overnight sees more tariff talk. Stocks hit and grains hit as well. So far, off of our lows but off to a bad start.
Corn is 4 to 5 lower, beans are 18 lower and wheat is 4 to 5 lower as well.
The dollar is sharply unchanged at 90.47 up .01.
Stocks were hit on the announcement of maybe for tariffs. The S&P future is off 22 points and the Dow future is lower by 230.
The 10 year yield waiting for the non-farm numbers and stands at 2.81%.
The crude oil market trades at $62.97 down .57 and the gold market not enjoying and flight to quality and trades at $1323.01 down $3.53.
Today we get more tariff rhetoric as well as the Change in Nonfarm Payrolls, the Two-Month Payroll Net Revision, Change in Private Payrolls, Change in Manufacturing Payrolls, the Unemployment Rate, Average Hourly Earnings, the Labor Force Participation Rate and Consumer Credit.
