OptionEye - Macro Outlook - Aug 14th
I think that I may take the Ice Bucket Challenge to get the markets going higher again!
Yesterday's action currently has corn SHARPLY unchanged, beans are up 3 and wheat is up 2.
The situation in Russia may hold the key here in the short term and without any major economic numbers due out today the headlines may rule again.
The 10 year yield is at 2.41% and headed lower. Stocks are slightly better in spite of bad news on Europes economy.
Gold is slightly lower at $1314.75 up $1.85. Oil is down .15 cents to $97.44.
The dollar is slightly weaker but still strong at 81.54 down .04.
Something to note, the German 10 year yield briefly traded below 1.00% for the first time ever today. Hhhmmm
