OptionEye - Macro Outlook - Aug 19th
Overnight grains see corn up 1-2, beans up 2-3 and wheat unchanged.
Stocks look to open lower today as the S & P futures point to a loss of almost 5 points on the open.
The 10 year yield trading like it is in the depths of August....cause we are. Currently it stands at 2.18% and looking rather listless. Today we get MBA Mortgage Applications, CPi and the FOMC Minutes from July 28-29. Maybe we get some movement out of those headlines.
Oil is lower to $42.35 down .27 cents and quite. Gold is slightly higher again to $1121.40 up $3.61.
The dollar is quiet as well and slightly easier by .10 to 96.93.
Things have been very quiet and look to be that way again today.
