OptionEye Macro Outlook August 26th
Well, we all sit with baited breath....why you ask? I'm not so sure. It's all on Yellen.
Overnight sees corn quietly mixed, beans down 1 and wheat steady to a bit easier. Sep options go off today. Things are very quiet.
The stock market will open sharply unchanged to a little easier as we all sit here, on our hands, waiting to see what the Emporer is wearing today in Jackson Hole.
The 10 year yield camping out where it has been the last few weeks. Currently it trades at 1.57% but most likely will react to the speech today.
The oil market is slightly lower at $47.15 down .18 cents. The gold market is quiet as well up $5.03 at $1326.97.
The dollar is a little lower at 94.63 down .13.
Today we get Yellen in Jackson Hole, Wholesale Inventories, GDP, Core PCE and the University of Michigan Sentiment Survey.
Have a great weekend.
