OptionEye Macro Outlook August 30th
Very quiet day yesterday. I expect the same today. We have non-farm payroll on Friday and this is technically the last week before school starts so lots of people out.
The 10 year yield coming in yesterday as a couple of Fed officials walk back Fischer's remarks on Friday. This morning the 10 year yield trades at 1.57%.
The grains are quiet with overnight corn steady to a bit easier, beans down 1 to 2 and wheat bucking the trend up a penny.
The stock market wants to open quietly as well with the S&P future down just under a point and the Dow future unchanged.
Oil is a bit higher this morning at $47.28 up .30 cents. Gold is lower at $1320.77 down $2.73.
The dollar is stronger at 95.76 up .18.
Today we get the S&P CoreLogic numbers and the Consumer Confidence Index.
