OptionEye Macro Outlook December 22nd
Getting a little more volatile with a little less volume. These are the days that can be weird and dangerous.
The overnight grains see corn down 1, beans down 5 and wheat unchanged.
The dollar is hanging around that 103 level at 102.92, down .10. Still very strong.
Stocks are going to open a little lower this morning as all of the news outlets go on about the Dow 20k. It is getting a little tiring right about now. It will happen and maybe today is the day. We get a lot of numbers out this morning - GDP, Chicago Fed. Nat. Activity Index, Personal Consumption, Core PCE, Durable Goods, Capital Goods, Initial Jobless Claims, Continuing Claims, FHFA House Price Index and the Bloomberg Economic Expectations Index, Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index and Personal Income. Whew.
The 10 year yield is at 2.55% and not really moving.
The crude oil market is a little lower this morning at $52.20 down .29 cents and the gold market stands at $1130.04 down $1.55.
Lots to get through this morning.
Have a great day.
