OptionEye Macro Outlook - Feb. 11th
Good morning.
Here we go again. Stocks overnight getting slammed. Oil getting slammed. Not going to be a pretty start to the day.
Corn unchanged, beans up 1 to 2 and wheat up 1 to 2 as well. Pretty good considering.
S&P futures are lower by 32 points this morninga and the Dow future is lower by 272 points. Ugh.
Oil off by .84 cents to $26.61. Hard to believe I am even writing that price down. Filled up this morning on the way in for $1.33/gallon.
Gold is spiking higher on the nerves and is currently up $43.35 to $1240.47 and still rallying.
The 10 year really showing strains as it approaches 1.50% and trades at 1.56% right now.
The dollar is weaker again to 95.45 down .43.
We get Initial Jobless Claims, Continuing Claims and the Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index.
Hang on tight.
