OptionEye Macro Outlook February 6th
Things are beginning to happen in a pattern. Brexit, the Chicago Cubs, Donald Trump and now thta Super Bowl....wow. I guess I have learned my lesson - anything can happen.
Overnight corn is up 1 to 2 cents, beans are up 10 to 11 cents and wheat is mixed. The dollar is relatively unchanged at 99.97 which is up .10 this morning.
The 10 year yield is sitting at 2.44% this morning and continues to look for signs as to when and where the next move will be.
Stocks will open steady to a bit lower with the S&P future down by 1 point and the Dow future down by 1 point as well.
Oil is pretty flat too at $53.97 up .14 cents and looking to break through that $55 level that it has been bumping up agains lately. The gold market is a bit higher at $1226.26 up $6.06.
Today we don't get anything significant as far as economic news so it will be all about the immigration ban and the Super Bowl.
