OptionEye - Macro Outlook - Jan 26th
Good morning.
I am back from lovely Hong Kong and found out that I really do appreciate good ole' American coffee - but I love the 70 degree temps 😉
Overnight, corn down 2, beans down 4 and wheat up 1.
Looks like oil sliding lower while I was away and now trades at $44.98 down .61 cents. More bulls coming out of the closet now but I still think it trades heavy.
Gold slipping $16.17 down to $1277.93 as the $1300 level proves to be a ceiling right now.
The 10 year yield still saying there is trouble on the horizon and stands at 1.79%. Remember, all the smart talking heads, this time last year, said that level would be 3.52%. Ouch.
Stocks are lower on the Greece elections. Trouble brewing again in Europe as the Euro falls to a new recent low against the dollar and our S & P futures are down over 5 points.
We get Dallas Fed Manf. Activity today so expect oil and Greece to dominate the headlines.

Funny how you are right.... Been hearing a long time about how interest rates were going to go up.... They were right a little.... Third world countries have had to raise there rates.....p-oed
