OptionEye Macro Outlook June 30th
Good morning.
End of month. End of quarter. USDA report. This could be volatile.
Overnight it really doesn't matter for grains as the report comes today at 11:00 CST. If it matters corn is up 2, beans are up 4 and wheat is up 1.
Stocks are a little lower with the S&P future down 2 and the Dow future down 7.
The 10 year yield climbing above 1.50% yesterday and now sits at that level.
The oil market is a little lower after running up to the $50 level yesterday. This morning oil is at $49.13 down .75 cents. Gold is basically unchanged at $1318.02 down $1.00.
The dollar is quiet as well going into the holiday weekend and is a bit lower at 95.67 down .09.
Today we obviously get the USDA crop acreage report, Initial Jobless Claims, Continuing Claims, Chicago Purchasing Manager's report and the Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index.
Hang on tight.
