OptionEye Macro Outlook Oct. 14th
Good morning.
Overnight the grains were quiet with corn unchanged, beans up 1 and wheat down 1. China setting beans on fire yesterday with a purchase giving a good leg higher and it looks to be holding early this morning.
We are entering earnings season and things are expected to be lackluster. Equity futures are basically unchanged with the S&P future slightly higher by 1 point and the Dow future up by 6 points.
The 10 year yield coming in this morning with the yield trading at 2.03% down from yesterday's 2.08%.
Oil is trading basically flat at $46.73 up .07 cents. Gold is quiet but holding gains at $1167.99 down .82 cents.
The dollar is lower at 94.84 down .27.
Today we get MBA Mortgage Applications, Retal Sales, Beige Book Release and PPI. Finally, something to get our teeth into.

Excellent video Scott on the Macro's that are holding this market range bound. This is still the illusion market. It is not at all as it seems!
