OptionEye Macro Outlook - Oct. 8th
A few foggy heads here in Chicago after the Cubs win last night.
Overnight grains see corn down 1, beans down 4 and wheat up 2. A bit of posturing going on for tomorrow's WASDE numbers.
Stocks look to be easier this morning as S&P futures are down almost 7 points and the Dow futures down 55 points.
The 10 year yield is haning in there at 2.04% as we wait for the Fed to release the minutes of the Sept. 16-17 FOMC meeting where they left rates unchanged. The market will be interested in how close the vote was.
Oil is a little higher at $48.25 up .44 cents and gold is lower at $1145.10 down .43 cents and pretty quiet.
The dollar is lower at 95.33 down .16.
We also get Initial Jobless Claims and the Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index.
