OptionEye Macro Outlook October 5th

Good morning. 


Overnight sees corn up almost 2 cents, beans up 4 cents and wheat mixed/unchanged. 


The dollar is pretty much unchanged at 93.50 which is up .04. 


The stock market wants to open....wait for it.....wait for it.....yep - you guessed it - up. The S&P future at this time of morning is unchanged and the Dow future is higher by 2. 


The 10 year yield is at about the same level as yesterday at this time an trades at 2.32%. 


The crude oil market barely clinging on to $50.08 up .10 cents and gold is a bit higher at $1278.14 up $3.18 .


Today we get Challenger Job Cuts, Initial Jobless Claims, Continuing Claims, Trade Balance, the Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index, Factory Orders, Durable Goods and Capital Goods.
