OptionEye Macro Outlook - Sept. 11th
Good morning.
A somber day for me and the country. I lost 2 friends and 3 co-workers in the twin towers 14 years ago today. Never forget.
Overnight we have been quiet waiting for the release at 11:00 CST today. Corn slightly higher, beans up 3 and wheat unchanged.
The 10 year yield coming in a tad as stocks retreat. The 10 year is at 2.18 this morning but still quiet waiting for the Fed next week. Stocks are lower this morning with the S & P future off over 9 points and the Dow future off 75 points.
Goldman calling for $20 oil this morning and crude is off $1.32 to $44.60.
Gold is lower by $3.70 to $1107.05.
The dollar is relatively unchanged at 95.55 down by .09.
Today we get the USDA, PPI and the University of Michigan Sentiment Survey.
Have a great weekend.

Absolutely Scott, we can not forget what tragic event happened on this day, 14 years ago.
