OptionEye - Macro Outlook - Sept. 22nd
Good morning.
Feeling very Autumnal this morning out there or at least in Chicago. Nice crisp morning leadind to high 60's and sun today. Perfect.
Feels like we broke the back of soybeans this morning as they are down 15 cents overnight. Wheat is up 2 while corn slides in sympathy with beans and is down 2.
Corn at 2010 lows as commodity funds hit 5 year lows. I think this is something to take note of as often times commodities can lead the way or at tleast be the 'canary in the coal mine'.
Stocks are easier and the S & P is down 7 points. The 10 year is at 2.55%.
Oil is lowerr by .05 cents at $92.36 and Gold is a little higher at $1216.11 up $1.42.
The dollar is down .05 to 84.68 but still is relatively very strong.
Existing home sales on the block at 9;00 CST.
