OptionEye Morning Market Macro Outlook - April 28th
Good morning.
Cold, wet and rainy. Hello summer.
Corn up 3, wheat up 2.5 and soybeans leading the way up 15.
Beans trade up to levels last seen on the 21st of April. Cold wet weather also looking to hamper the planting of corn. We get planting progress this afternoon.
The situation in Russia/Ukraine tensions are not going away and arguably are heating up. Oil is up .61 cents to $101.21 and gold is off $2.75 to $1300.45 hanging on to that $1300 level.
The 10 year yield is at 2.68%, not really budging but stocks are going to open higher this morning which may see that 10 year yield creep towards 2.70% again. If it doesn't, it should be telling us something.
The dollar is off giving commodities a boost, trading at 79.62 which is lower by .12.
Today we see Pending Home Sales and Dallas Fed Manufacturing Activity.
