OptionEye.......Sept. 30th

Good morning.

Today is the day. Government shutdown? Stocks meltdown? And, oh yea, a stocks number for commodities.

Quarterly corn survey is for 687M. Beans are 125M.

Weekend press obviously dominated by the cat fight in Washington. Frankly, I'm tired of it.

As for corn, wheat and beans, it will be interesting to see what this report holds in store for us going into the last quarter of the year. Another important thing to remember - end of month AND end of quarter. Sometimes things get a little fishy around here. Throw in the government and a quarterly stocks survey and hey, just about anything can happen.

Corn up 2. Beans down 3 and wheat unchanged.

Loving the weather at the moment. A guy my size loves these 40 degree mornings and 70 degree afternoons.

Stocks lower on the government. The 10 year yield is 2.60% continuing its march lower. Gold is basically unchanged at $1337.22 and oil slightly lower at $101.49 down $1.38.

Let's see what presents the day has in store for us.

C'mon snakeyes! I agree if the report is bullish it will be shortlived by the fear of govt shutdown.  We can do this.  Think positive.

Re: OptionEye.......Sept. 30th

The ugly reminder of how sick the federal "horse" we are riding is.

Debt ceiling= the credit card our bureaucracy carries for emergencies is all it has left to live on.  The begging for increases in the credit limit is as ugly as the fight other hard core addicts go through.

Can't hardly stand to watch it!

"Loving the weather at the moment. A guy my size loves these 40 degree mornings and 70 degree afternoons."  Best line of the day.  I will use that line in the future.

As a investor, I believe that the Gov shutdown will hurt some investments quite bad.  So, what investments will profit from Gov shutdown?
