OptionEye - The Cow Guy - Dec 30th
Good morning.
Better weather down South has us on our heals..corn down 2 , wheat down 3 and beans down 9. Rain in Argentina the culprit today.
Corn is off 39% this year. Beans are down 7.5% and wheat down 22%. I think it will be good to get this year behind us.
As for the macros, the 10 year is at 2.98% and holding. Stocks are unchanged to slightly higher. Crude is down .49 cents to $99.83 and gold is down $8.17 to $1205.18.
The dollar is weaker this morning to 80.16.
It is pretty cold here in Chicago this morning. Stay warm.

Better look again Cow Guy That light at the end of the tunnel is a fast moving freight train. 2013 will look like the good old days.
PS: It's hard to take seriously any grown man dressing up like a cow. Just saying.

Re: Good to get this year behind us????
Scott posts on here not because he has to but in hopes someone can gain from the info he passes along, which I appreciate so why don't you have a neighbor or someone hold your head under water for an extended period of time.
PS; it's really hard to take someone seriously whose screen initials are BF

B stands for the first initial of his last name
F stands for Farms.

Now I make the Connection !!!!!!!!!!! After reading BF's posts - His last name has to be Bad !!!!!!! Bad Farm's ! That's the ticket ! LMAO
To bad his last name didn't start with an S - it would be closer to how he post's -- as in sucks - ROTFLMAO

Re: OptionEye - The Cow Guy - Dec 30th
Just amazing. When it wasn't raining in Argentina, the market sat on it's thumbs, not bidding it up. When it rains, the market gets a thrill running up it's leg and trades down.
Used to be, weather moved the market in both directions. Good post anyhow, OptionEye. Appears the Chinese will be getting cheap grains, maybe even reject a few more cargos and get it cheaper yet.

I felt the same on those corn export numbers last week. Haven't wanted to look at the markets since.
Did cargo's come back and get unloaded back to storage??
Thin trading week???
Scott Said this the Thursday and it was very accurate ----- The thinner the trade----- seldom favors producers.
"These two days can be dangerous. Not a lot of traders in but the markets have a tendency to flush one way or the other. "

Just wondering what happens on Jan 2. Keep thinking there will be some selling as traders wait to take profits in 2014. Or will they come back wanting to spend some money?
