Interesting article on Bloomberg today about farmers and their ability to adapt. The basic point was that gradual changes can be handled much better than short sharp shocks to the system. These shocks are hard to deal with and can completely undermine production.
Let's see what this year's weather brings us here in the States. One thing is for sure, it's started off a pretty cold one.
Corn and wheat are off 2, beans are 9. Showers in Brazil are the talk this morning, aiding thirsty crops and putting pressure on the market.
The 10 year is at 2.83%. Gold is better this morning up $5.64 to $1248.02. Gold is up .81 cents to $94.77.
Stocks are slightly higher after a mixed close. It has been one heck of a volatile week.
