Due to the fact the USA government believes in oil money and not clean air,  the citizens will now breath soot.

Just follow the money.

This is certainly ironic. For years now, ethanol has been blamed for higher food prices. Now, the lack of ethanol to stabilize the corn market and farmer’s income, perhaps causing more farmers going out of business, might just be the cause for food prices to soar higher.

Ethanol Plants produce

Say 40% of the co2 needed in the USA.

Meat processors are now on intermittent shutdowns because of limited co2.

It's used to sterilize and package meat.

Gas flush vaccuwrap is used to package a lot of meat.

Re: 4 billion bushel carryout, $1 corn here we come.

We've gone from planting, more corn, to more beans, to all beans in three weeks' time.

I guess it's, keep the seed in the bag, fertilizer on account and hope for a better year next year.

This  reminds me of that Stephen Foster song, " Oh, Hard Times, Come No More"
