The ethanol industry is cooking with gas, still needing the Environmental Protection Agency to allow for more use of the renewable fuel to be used in the U.S. petroleum supply, according to one industry leader. Jeff Broin, Chairman and CEO of POET, the No. 1 renewable fuels producer in the world, says the industry needs to inform consumers more on the health benefits of ethanol. Broin visited with Mike McGinnis at the Agriculture.com headquarters this week to lay out his company’s consumer awareness program.
