I'm not an American, but I am moved by the patriotism of your country. It is infectious, as you cannot help but feel as you listen to these high school students.  I would have loved to have been there.

Yep. A thousand people that can sing as opposed to 40k that can't sing in unison. The gal that sang it at the super bowl was outstanding as well.

I'll bet you that OH CANADA! would have stirred your heart as well.

Yes, and it does.  Especially at medal ceremonies these days!!

Wanted to come back to this and  Thank you...

I think it is residue from the immigration and tough times and challenges of the last century.  I am afraid recent immigration is not going to be followed with that level of committment and pride.  We will see..
