Re: Peter Zeihan interview, attn Farmers.

Through the course of history, natives, enslaved Africans, immigrants etc. did, in fact, hold views of the American experience that differed in various ways and degrees from what is portrayed in plain vanilla, simplistic US history texts.

My own views difffer from Zinn's in many ways but I don't run off screaming, with my fingers in my ears.

Like Critical Race Theory (which is only taught at the post-grad level), there is an appropriate academic level and age for introducing those conversations.

I'd judge that Advanced Placement HS Juniors and Seniors can probably handle it.

If a kid's sensibilities can't handle the consideration of a variety of historical viewpoints then he/she shouldn't be taking AP.

Let 'em go to Community College or something.

Not sure, but I think you guys might have missed some of his important points.

Higher rates, higher input costs, stronger dollar, those are more like the early 1980's than anything we have seen since. Capped by a spec driven doubling of land values. There might be a bit of a downside to consider is all.

time, just had that conversation with my oldest son....7% interest makes $10000 an acre land a  nonstarter.

Going to sit this round out.

SD, maybe you should try sticking to some facts instead of throwing out false claims and acting as if they are true. I guess in your mind, they are true.
