Re: Picture time! Bring 'em on!

DSCN2495.JPG

Two fields in center of picture have 9 skips. Not the best example of that we saw, just seems to be the only one we got a picture of.

Saw several fields west of Osceola, ia that had planter skips in them so bad it it was my planter I would park it where the sun don't shine at the dealership.

Re: SE Missouri Corn Harvest

SCMN = Two ears on the right are 103 day that was planted May 6th and the other two are 95 day used to re-plant about 3 weeks later:

My last Summer Ale - tasted better at the White Horse Saloon in Newport, Ri.Smiley Happy

Happy National Grandparent's Day!!

The 2 bean plants on the left are the .8's planted July 5th, others were planted mid-May:

The re-plants caught up in height, flowered well and set pods nicely....BUT:

Kind of flat!!

They sure look nice from the road but obviously need some time.  Only so many hours each day now that are warm enough to help.

Cross section of ear that is second from right in top pic:

Hasn't quite reached full maturity yet.  Too cool & wet early in the season.  We'll see what Friday/Saturday does to it.

Very little corn in our area was planted before this was, most of it about 2 weeks later.

Re: Picture time! Bring 'em on!

Hobby I was considering adding the hyd. drive with on/off electric clutches to my planter this winter.  Maybe after reading your above comments and viewing your pics I should reconsider.  Thanks for sharing.
