Yesterday was our family Christmas - We ( Mrs. ECI & I ) put on the meal for Mom, Dad , Sisters and there kids .

First Off ,Thanks BIG guy for blessing us with the food we ate - That brings up the heads up deal -  Everything was going great ---------------- Till I had that peice of pie ! Sugar Cream Pie at that ! Sugar cream pie is the OFFICAL state of Indiana Pie !  But heres the problem - the 2 main ingredients are ??? Cream and SUGAR --- LOTS of SUGAR !  One piece is like 400 calories ! But fellows -- Its Heaven !!!   About 30 minutes later I could hardly keep my eyes open - Must of been the sugar rush I was coming off  , I called one of my sisters last night and she said she barly made it home - She was so sleeply - she took a 2 hour nap - lol

So my friends - when your eyeing that big - hot piece of Pie after your Holiday meal -- Just remember - you have had fair warning !  lol

Good one ECIN, you need to check your blood sugar.  One of the symptoms of a diabetic coma is sudden fatigue LOL.  Well, maybe not LOL.  At my age that pie is off limits for me, ever at Christmas time.

Church tonight, family dinner at my sister's place tomorrow.  We are to bring the olives and rolls.

I walked back in the house this morning after doing chores and caught my dog eating a plate of christmas cookies

Well here is my story.  This morning after I finished feeding the cows my mom told me before I left her yard to stop by for some fresh pancakes and a cup of coffee.  It wasn't until after I finished my breakfast and thanked her that she started laughing and then she told me she made pancakes for her and the dog and had a little batter left over and didn't want to waste it.  My moms dog has forgotten he's a dog.  He even has his own recliner with built in heat and massage.  I'm scared to ask about the will.  LOL

Seven year old with the flu, mom has strep throat, and my brother, who was traveling from out of town, has pneumonia. We are just making the most of it without getting anybody else sick.
