Re: Rain California!!!

Wind - don't see California and the WCB having a connection right now.  Look to the SSW, for an idea of what moisture may have in store for the WCB this spring.  Still Very dry in TX, NM, OK, AZ areas.  This area has been a consistent watch area for me, as it seems to give a good indication as to what the WCB could experience.  I think it stays dry, with the exception of the NCB which I think will be cold and wet to begin this spring - again.

On an unrelated note, when I left AZ, I paid $2.60 for my propane for the motorhome.  Yesterday, I overheard a guy talking about his son who lives in the UP of Michigan, and had just paid over $9.00!  Ouch!

I turned down the job in OK.  $35.00 per hour, plus per diem, and I turned it down, and I Loved the job.   I'm not sure that turning down that sort of a position anytime is real smart.  But it's done.  And I'll have to live with the decision.

Re: Rain California!!!

I believe this a QPF, a quantitative precipitation forecast, an expected amount of melted precipitation.

Sure is a sharp cut-off to the south.

So, Jen, still dry for KS, NE and Iowa?

Re: Rain California!!!

The jet stream forecast shows a significant shift for the western and central US.

Temps will moderate and precip levels will increase for California and the northern plains.

Re: Rain California!!!

Man that sounds like the norm Isc76cat,   I would sure like to get out from under the brown stain on the 6-10 day precip. forcast map.

Been so long it is hard to remember the other half of normal.
