Rain Coming
How much faith do you have in receiving a rain on your farm
if you are a bit dry and need something for the beans
We already got our inch of Aug rain, so we don't really qualify as being dry
However, I have no idea what your needs or chances may be
Just wondering how much of the country needs rain and think they will get some

Re: Rain Coming
What county you in farsider?
We have the same issues in our area of Le Sueur county except we had to spray for aphids this week.
NW part of county has gotten rain with one of them being a heavy downpour.
Just can't get enough rain to cross the MN river valley.
Corn is filling ears and beans are flowering/setting pods.
Won't finish too well on just subsoil moisture and heavy dew.

Re: Rain Coming
It is a huge story------ and a real discouraging one for those of us who have been living with this issue for 4 years now.
meaning --- it probably ain't over.
For Marketing ------ If it proves true -- we live in an "if it is in print it is probably somebodies propabanda" world ----- It is a very big story.
Especially when corn is in a fire sale position. And wheat is in limited supply and reasonably priced. China is one of our lenders, if they need it, what we have is theirs.

Re: Rain Coming
😞
Is it amazing that even a little topography change can see a wide variation in rainfall, we see it with I 90, Seems to be a dividing line.
It's probably just a bit of paranoia when you need rain and it can't quite get to you.
