Ray J

Dam - you just don't know who will stop by the farm here - We were cleaning out some bins - Getting ready for this RECORD crop and I put my phone on the tool box - Safe there - And had a tractor running in the shed - I looked at my phone and seen I had missed a couple of calls from Ray J then the neighbor pulled in and I grabbed a chair and - Dang if Ray didn't pull in - Had a GREAT chat whit him and then he was off to see Time - Glad to have got to Meet Ray - GREAT guy - even if he said that this had to be the poorest ground and farm he has ever seen !

Thanks Ray !

Re: Ray J

now boys!!

had a great time visiting both of you......we learned about the real world from Ken and about the world to come at Time's meeting

always enjoy getting a fresh look at things...

all in all, crops looked better than I expected to see and we will let the combines tell us the truth in a few weeks...

Noblesville sure is not the sleepy little backwater I remember driving through on the way to Eldora Racetrack in the 70's and 80's!!

Re: Ray J

No doubt about that Ray.

You might be interested to know that NASS says that Hamilton County (fastest growing and wealthiest in the midwest for decades) has 116,298 acres of row crops. This is only down 9,000 acres since 1987. Just shows how far off their data is, at least 40,000 acres have been paved under since then is my calculation. I can count the 9,000 in 3 developments. Not trying to confuse, merely share the local experience.

Re: Ray J

I used to haul grain back to the river out of noblesville, anderson, mccordsville, greenfield, pendelton and now it all looks like houses to me. that was 30 yrs ago.

Re: Ray J
