Hobby I think much of the wheat dying in our area is a result of the last segment of the three you present.
We tiller in the fall and we have been below 12 degrees for days this winter without snow cover.
Our fields are dying in a blochy patern that is not a dry weather indicator. Even though dry is an issue.
edges and ditches have green wheat and most areas are brown inside the field.
Crop insurance Adjusters are busier than farmers .
Gotta be the coldest winter most of us have ever lived through.
