Record Soybean Acres
Record soybean acres this year, and now with the chinese trade war heating up the market has dropped 40c. I hope you sold all of your beans early or you will be left holding the bag on this one.

Re: Record Soybean Acres
Farmers forward sell bushels all the time. You take on some risk, but you can lock in better prices.

Re: Record Soybean Acres
FT, if you put your money in the game...
IF we have record bean acres which is a little suspect in my view, but IF,
the only rational outcome is too few corn acres,
and Corn at 3.50 is WAY UNDERVALUED...
so a guy like you should be buying 20 cars a day or so and building a position 🙂
Of course, I am assuming you are a actual trader and not a ghost poster....

Re: Record Soybean Acres
Check the pictures of all the ships anchored in Brazilian ports while beans there have a $1.60+ basis ........trying to find enough to fill them....a boat or two while 20 more wait.
I would guess that this "record acres" message is diversionary information. Diverting away from this weeks US export news and Brazils backlog news.......
My guess is the Euro's had no choice but to buy here.....
If there are record acres planted I did not see them ..... from des moines to Baker, Okla.... less than last year... so far. But that is a real field count not that perfect hocus pocus from a political agency. What I saw was too many corn acres for the heat and water available. We sent the water north again for some reason.
Wait, that might be too much real news...... struggling to catch my breath....
