Hogs have made a nice run from the March lows (in the 87-88 range) up to almost $100 per hundred weight. We have remained patient waiting for our target price, and even though prices could push higher, marketing a portion at this level makes a lot of sense from a risk-management perspective. Rewarding the big rallies, reducing risk and locking in profits are never a bad thing.
