Russian grain to be blocked from Ukraine?

I noticed Russia was blocking Ukraine dairy from Crimia. I would think the logical extension of this might be prevention of Russian grain through Ukraine, denying a warm water port for shipments. Just a guess. Maybe a deliberate provocation by Russia to help build a case for invasion later? Who knows?

Ukraine and Russia:

There was concern a few weeks back that some of the far eastern states of Ukraine could also be at risk of Russian invasion. The area that we spoke about that had a pro-Russian separatist movement take over a government building was in the city of Donetsk. This is one of the far eastern states of Ukraine. The marketplace has become a little bit concerned again that this could possibly open up the door for Russia to make another move. This was seen as supportive for the wheat market today and also added a little bit of support for corn, although prices did finish slightly lower in corn.

NATO should place troupes in the Ukraine,
after all, they were given an agreement
For giving up their arms that if help
Everyone would come running.
Russia would not dare invade, and risk
injuring troops from another country.
That could make the cheese far more
Binding, and open up a can of worms
Nobody wants opened.

Re: Russian grain to be blocked from Ukraine?

Realistically, NATO troops in Ukraine would be interpreted by Russia as an act of war. We have no defense agreements w/ Ukraine. There would be no way out and the stakes of the situation have to be worth it. At this time it would be almost impossible to make that argument.

For now , economically isolating Russia is good enough. We still have Iran and other places to watch. Being overcommitted would not be a good thing. Logistically Ukraine is very far from our most strategic interests. Things have gone the right way in Europe. It wouldn't be good to overreach now.

Oh I guess taking over a part of the Ukraine
is considered a "police Acton" by Russia?
Its time Europe gets some skin in the
Game, after all its in their own back yard.

This fellow is old school KGB.

The sterilized modern era of "global cooperation" does not work.
