SW---Weather
I've noticed a few T-storm warnings here and there down in your area, not wishing any bad weather on you, but are you at least catching some rain? We have been under the gun for the last 2 days but have come up high and dry. Not even enough rain to wash the dust from the rain guage.

No she missed this again. Nice Clouds rhen the wind came up and blew em apart. Ripping lightly between rows now trying to stop sand storm. One good leaf left out of 4. Fast water passes only go so far. Another evening of high wind sending the energy north east. My dalhart sandy loans are getting picked on.

Re: SW---Weather
I want my ground back sw! Had gusts earlier this evening, but now in good shape. I comprehend the watering to keep dirt from blowing--works better than nothing, but not for long. I run cultivator with one shank or anhydrous bar for the same reason, but even that works marginally with 50 mph winds blowing down the rows. Strip till works the best depending on row orientation. Not till is non existent practically here.

Re: SW---Weather
This was soybean stubble that we stripped Tlled north than south so we were kind asking for it. Another day or two this in the wind is going to win some major battles.

You have asked before so I'll tell you this time. When I get the end of the row Tyrone Oklahoma will be 9 miles away at 150 Degrees.

Re: SW---Weather
Looks like a large part of Western KS is getting some nice rains. SW may have missed it and Hobby's western slice is getting rain and it looks like it may come your way Shaggy.
Here in Iowa we are up to 7" for the month way above normal however way less than some. More on the way. A lot of beans to plant yet.
