I second that Shaggy! Im sorry to hear about your wheat. It was looking good from your pictures too. No crop to freeze here, its once again pouring rain. Not to curse the rain but it needs to quit for a couple weeks to get some work done, and then come back in time for the heat. Smiley Very Happy I agree with others on this thread, the market does not seem to notice the lost acres of wheat due to freezing temps or the couple million corn acres that will never get planted.

Maybe the trade will take notice when the wheat tour travels through the hrw belt on April 30 and makes its report.

Looked at our long range forecast and it shows 2 nightly lows next week below freezing. We just cannot catch a break. Granted they aren't much below freezing, but cold enough non the less.

one of our local guys is forecasting a low of 42 degrees later next week here in SE Tx.

 

that would be a record for date by 8* and 25* below avg.
