Yup, Mt Hood winter ice climbing will probably wait until it's below zero up there and things freeze solid underneath. But, the fronts rolling over here are a sad reminder that much of the state on the east side is quickly going to mud season. A few elk hunters will never be seen again after the mountains are closed. Time for steelheading.
